Black folk, and I guarantee you’ll have a very different film from the audiences point of view. It’s a bold choice to leave it out. And speaking as a filmmaker, an intentional choice.

I don’t understand people’s take that just because Dixon tries to make up for a wrong that suddenly makes him good. He’s an awful racist throughout and is still at the end. The film doesn’t try to redeem him.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm not trying to argue the film is trying to make him "good." I'm saying it haphazardly has no idea fuck all what it's saying and there isn't even insight into in unredeemablility and what that means. It's a wet fart.
