Sorry, just coming back, and also sorry if I was being strident. The over-sensitivity comes from the fact that there's often an ugly conversation regarding LGBT stories, that they "get a pass" and are "over-valued" purely because of their progressive cultural esteem.
I genuinely, on any level, don't understand how that can be the part you forgot. And keep in mind, I don't like the show all that much. That episode is the standout, even on pure story for me.

Not trolling, but I just didn’t think the sexual orientation was that significant. That just didn’t stand out for me. Coming from the medical field, I was much more interested in other elements of the story and I was left disappointed. It’s always so, so gimmicky and shallow.
