Yoda's failure speech made me so happy, because it's something that really resonates with me. It's not the first time I've heard it expressed, but seeing it in a Star Wars film, of all places, was emotional for me.

Ahhhh logic. Storytelling's annoying friend. Except, you know, the film exactly accounts for this by telling us that Luke closed himself off from the force.

Hahaha yeah except Yoda can *somehow make lightning happen* and has a corporeal presence when he manifests so whether or not he can appear has nothing to do with Luke’s willingness to see him
