I'll have a long-ass review eventually, but I feel THE LAST JEDI is true Star Wars, respecting The Force and The Rebellion as philosophies rather than fetishizing them as pop culture. Its answers are more meaningful and interesting than the ones everybody expected. Loved it.

My biggest fear rn is that they backpedal on that in ep IX and go like "Kylo lied! Rey is actually a Kenobi" or something like that.

And yeah I was happy that Snoke was obliterated without much fuss, I've always seen him as a plot device rather than a real character. A way to give a vaguely tangible form to the ideology Kylo and Hux embrace
