Sure. And then it cuts to a moment of horrible slapstick comedy which is totally out of place. And then jumps to another tonally inconsistent thing. Etc.

Oh dear, not a movie having fun! Sorry i dont mean to be flippant, but movies are allowed to jump tones, I hate that this overtly-serious tonal posturing idea has become the norm. Movies deserve better.
