okay, that was super strong language. i felt like a lot of the comedy was derived from characters being somewhat, if not entirely, cruel towards each other.

and the way the show treated frasier… a lot of mean-spirited rustling of jimmies played as “just a joke” and then the humiliating dissolution of his marriage to lilith for seemingly no reason.

I just honestly don't know what sitcoms play the love / mean angle, save, like, one. And even in P&R it's still there.
