All they do is take a two hour idea for a "movie" and stretch it with no idea how to make an episode.

Oh I agree it is 100% structured to be binged. I even think season 1 & 2 are similarly seamless

I happily watched and enjoyed the first two episodes last night. I like the slower set up. I have no complaints thus far.

But there's nothing actually being set-up. It's just delay and plot-blocking. We're just twiddling our thumbs with likable characters.

Missing winking smiley(ment less harsh), but i think you are "wrong" to demand traditional episode structure and saying there is no setup.

To me, it's not about tradition or lack there of. There's nothing happening. It's delay. They aren't playing their cards because they dont

know how to without give it away. Good TV shows know how to play with bigger stories and find smaller beats along the way. Doesn't matter

How traditionally done (great episodic tv) or not (the wire) or a hybrid (breaking bad) - it's finding stories within stories.

None of the show "sets up" - it just teases and that's not the same thing.

i think i understand what you say. But when i try to apply it to the show to make an argument, i don't even know how to make it fit.
