ITS A TESTAMENT TO FUNCTIONAL, DIRECT, BROAD, AND EFFECTIVE FILMMAKING. SOME SEEM TO HATE IT FOR THAT. BUT THEY DONT GET HOW HARD IT IS.

It is hard - I just don't think it succeeds. Broad becomes clichéd and flat, characters become stereotypes rather than archetypes.
