When writing action, DO make it exciting and fun to read. DO NOT tell me the exact actions of each and every person/prop/vehicle involved.

It’s tempting to explain each & every thing to make sure there’s no confusion or “logic problems” but that usually makes it MORE confusing.

The writer’s job is not fight choreography, it’s convincing people this action sequence is fun, exciting, and worth spending $$$$ to make.

So don’t waste ink describing martial arts moves - Instead, focus on the emotional journey of the characters through the action.
