Sitting down for The Dark Knight. First time I've seen it on the big screen since 2008. I love nearly every minute of this movie.

God DAMN that movie is awesome. I think I loved it more this time than I did when I saw it in 2008. You need to watch it big and LOUD.

EVERY CRITICISM OF IT LARGELY LOGIC BASED AND RELATIVELY FACILE. IT'S A MASTERPIECE.

Absolutely. Every single scene speaks to the themes/questions of the film and how the characters deal with them. It's as tight as a drum.

AND IN THE END THE STORY IS SO CLEAR: IT'S THE BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF GOTHAM.

It's unbelievable to me that people say Nolan is dark and cynical in the face of the boat scene, where the people say "Fuck you" to Joker.

SWITCH A BIT TOO HARD INSTEAD OF JUST PLAYING THAT DRAMA STRAIGHT. BUT THE POINT OF IT IS INCONTREVERTIBLE IN PURPOSE.
