@FilmCritHULK The Alexa is gorgeous in a controlled environment (interiors, set work), but not so great in daytime sunlight.

@FilmCritHULK I don't think it's any trickier than any other major camera system, but obviously you're looking for something specific -
@ldmullen@filmcrithulk I wouldn't say its harder to correct. You can shoot flat not much different than other high ends.

@FilmCritHULK tho I'd love to see stats on how many shows color correct the ProRes as opposed to recording in and onlining/finishing ARRIRAW -
@ldmullen@filmcrithulk most shows are shooting ProRes, even Drive was recording to HD decks. Raw is happening more and more now. - Show replies

@FilmCritHULK for example, GoT season 1 shot Alexa but recorded the 1080 HD-SDI feed to HDCAM SR and used that as their master formatThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@bdgrabinski@filmcrithulk haven't seen it explicitly stated, but I'm assuming they started recording ARRIRAW for season 2 -
@ldmullen@bdgrabinski@filmcrithulk or the ProRes or DNXHD files flat. Shooting to tape is really dumb these days

@bdgrabinski@shawn_bannon@filmcrithulk yeah I should set up lists for the people I follow in production and post -
@ldmullen@bdgrabinski@shawn_bannon THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS WHAT HULK SEES ON THE AMATEUR LEVEL. PEOPLE USE THE CAMERA AND JUST ASSUME IT - Show replies
