I loved this movie. I've been lukewarm on the MCU since the start. This movie had actual themes and motifs and narrative arcs. The shot of Natasha buried underneath the pink blossom tree will stick with me for a while. Felt like they made an actual movie instead of just a comic.

I really liked it to! Most of my criticism is sort of this simple re-ordering / clarifying stuff that just would have made the ending pop better :)

As always you are right in the analysis and I kept imagining of powerful Endgame would have been if we had a more fuctional movie of this before hands

Has anybody actually calculated how many stories she fell over the course of this movie without injury? Guess the logic was 'if she hits enough stuff on the way down it breaks her fall'

I've developed a theory that the MCU functions like wrestling. It's one continuous story, where the priority is characters instead of plot. The real goal of Black Widow was for Scarlett Johansson to put over Florence Pugh, and it's what the film does besthttps://twitter.com/nick_field90/status/1365380241120759811 …
