Don't wanna spoil the new episode, but the sitcom star Wanda channels in ep6 is a perfect fit for where she is in the season arc: exhausted, desperate to hold everything together, and regularly starting to crack.

Great stuff as always! Really agree that the show could have set up where it’s at a little better. Personally I think letting Vision be a bit more suspicious starting with episode 2 and just build on that would have done wonders. Also hard agree with the color grading stuff.

About malcom in the middle homage it's weird cuz everytime I watch it it makes me feel like the early 2000s when I was in school so people saying is the 90s was so wrong. Also I don't know why did they skipped the 90s. The nanny, prince of rap, friends could have been homaged.

"Cards on table" argument actually seems off now - I picked/hoped all week they'd reveal Agnes as real showrunner here, yet they went all in with "its all Wanda/all powerful woman going unstable" mode again- & now if that's not it, there's too little time left to do pivot justice

Likely ep 7 scenario should bring Wanda/Vision & Wanda/SWORD conflicts to boil before her memory's refreshed [by new Mind Stone?] to likely set up ep 8 flashback - but it probably won't play as well as it would have if Wanda had been revealed as not in charge an episode earlier

fwiw I feel the reason Monica is so empathetic is because she recently lost a loved one so she has some understanding as to what Wanda's going through.

I’d love to think that WandaVision represents a new grading policy but the scenes set in the ‘real world’ of the SWORD base look kinda grey and mushy to me - like permission to ‘pop’ has only been granted in the phoney TV land. Colour = hyper real.

It's so true, as soon as they introduced the sword timeline i recalled I was watching an MCU TV show... I felt a bit ashamed

I know you've beaten this horse to death and I don't mean to go off but seeing tweets like this and knowing the show is creating excitement and building an audience each week and OH MY F'ING GOD I wish Netflix would change their strategy and stop screwing over their talent.pic.twitter.com/dowt9DSDTq

Again, apologies for my tangent. Good work on the recap. I thoroughly enjoy it.
