I don't think this thread is wrong, but I think there's a counterhistorical framing with this point that ignores *gestures at TV in the late 90s and early 2000s*. Absolutely! Sorry, I do agree with a lot of the thread! I primarily disagree with the root cause of terrible cancelation cycles; it's a problem of corporate churn that I think is meaningfully deeper, and this feels more like another iteration of it.
