Getcha. I'm not familiar with the House Of M and if that's being drawn on here or even if Vision is killed in the original Infinity Wars stories so projection is all I've got. Still, the conceit that all sitcom characters are existentially trapped is a good one to play with here.

Right but in order for it to work dramatically, it's gotta play the dramatic irony of knowing their trapped (early truman show) or watching them struggle with their desire and want (pleasantville) or actively looking for escape out (later part of both) - which brings it to same.
