I genuinely like writing about the week-to-week event stuff on Disney Plus, because I like talking about things as they progress. It's fun. And we don't have enough of it these days. Thus, Water Cooler-ing With WANDAVISION.https://www.patreon.com/posts/46336356

I was gonna read it regardless, but alliteration always gets a quick click from me.

I’ve had several friends of mine complain about not being able to binge it but I love it this way!

The discourse about people ‘complaining’ they can’t watch the whole this is pretty funny to me. Like, they would’ve hated, say, ‘X-Files’ or any serialized TV BITD 😆

I actually liked the 2nd episode less because it had too many random "bigger picture" references without any actual relevance (though I liked the sitcom story in itself). Episode 1, on the other hand, was lighthearted fun (mostly) without distractions.

Shakman has talked about how they switch to the different filming style in episode 2 because Bewitched was shot like that (adding a laugh track later) vs. Dick Van Dyke with the fixed cameras/audience. Curious to see how they keep changing it up week to week.

Also, the style of the dinner scene in Ep. 1 became more cinematic (although maintaining the aspect ratio and B&W) when Mrs. Hart was repeating “stop it.” Seemed like the illusion/spell/mystery/whatever was breaking.
