DIVINITY II: The level spike when you get to Arx is... absurd? I've tried ALL possible fights to start out and lost them all. I know I'll get lucky with a strat at some point but to give you NO way in at first with enemies all at your level is... bold.

So I finally won the stupid gate fight, where the entire secret is "go to the left" even tho the right balcony is JUST AS HIGH. Why? cause there's a glitch where it keeps them in the corner for some reason which 1) fuck off and 2) isn't as frustrating as next...

I honestly think Reapers Coast is one of the best designed areas I've ever played. Aside from a few bumps, you can figure out where to go and what to do in a REALLY FUN WAY and only hit a few roadblocks- Arx is a clusterfuck of confusion. Everything is out of order...

The magister basement fight is the only one i've been able to win and I'm just fucking trying to claw to level 19. I finally end up in the sewers and have an EPIC battle with the death fog spiders, who are cartoonishly devious.

I understand this is very complain-y, of course I do, but I just have that simple question: why? Where other little spikes felt like moments of devious fun, absolutely nothing about this level feels fun. I genuinely don't understand the "why" it was made like this.

I understand I'll eke it out and even now I just FINALLY got a huge break with some stuff. But it's worth talking about those bumps sometimes ya know?

I totally agree. I'm playing PILLARS OF ETERNITY and I find myself switching between Easy and Story Mode (then again, I could just be crap at CRPGs).
