DIVINITY II: The level spike when you get to Arx is... absurd? I've tried ALL possible fights to start out and lost them all. I know I'll get lucky with a strat at some point but to give you NO way in at first with enemies all at your level is... bold.

Not at all! I haven't played the game but it seems like a design and testing issue where the early levels got more testing and refinement and later content was possibly rushed out or not thoroughly tested. Or did the developers have some different idea in mind?

You're not wrong to ask this! The short answer is I like playing games on normal. I like the base-level challenge without going nuts. And I LOVE the combat in this, so it's not like I'm out of step with what's going on here. It was just a HUGE frustrating jump. And-

Divinity 2 Update: I've slogged through most of Arx and about half way through level 19 but I'm so so so so so so so so so tired of running into devilish insane level 20 endgame fights where there's some insane trick you have to do to even have a chance. This is inane.
