Question: what possible dang reason could there be for streaming services (hulu / youtube, etc) keeping the scrolling bar / icons OVER the dang image for a few seconds after you hit play? It makes watching something with subtitles impossible.

The other day I was watching something on Netflix with captions. At one point, a character spoke Spanish and the show had hardcoded subtitles for her dialogue.

Don't you love it when they put a caption reading "[SPEAKING SPANISH]" right over the native-to-video subtitle translating it into English?

On YouTube I can hit up on the remote to make it go away...the others don’t have a solution. It really sucks
