It still works for me because this is also Luke at his cockiest. It's because Luke can do stuff like that that he fucks up and ends up being the Luke of TLJ. Also... does this mean that among his many sins is letting Grogu get murdered by Ben Solo?

you waved it off as « space magic or whatever » but to be fair there’s no need for a tie in blog, it was a major plot point that Grogu was to try and make contact with a Jedi through that old temple and we saw him do it. That being said I do see your point

Lovely piece. This finale, and ultimately this season, so greatly illustrates the danger in valuing Indulgence over Story. Such a shame for for a show that initially promised to show new sides of this universe and the people within it, only to fall prey to franchise-y dreck.
