Structurally, I thought Tenet was great. Although having read enough 50s/60s time travel fiction, it was fairly easy to spot where it was going most of the time. Almost everything else about it needed work.

One of the biggest problems for me was the Nolan's decision to throw out central concepts he'd spent the first half of the film establishing.

"Inverting things in time is possible and known to only a secret few." Ok, cool. "Now there's a private mercenary army of a couple of hundred people who also know about this top secret technology." Huh? Why? "Because we need a big action scene at the finale."
