The Magic Blood would be eugenics, but also just kinda boring. I hope they have an idea to subvert it but so far the show has been pretty straightforward, so

Another episode where the central stakes of the episode felt inert...like no just running through corridors killing stormtroopers doesn’t make drama. And season 1 was, I felt quite good at the episodic drama stakes
On retrospection, I thought that the Empire's need for Yoda was more an example of irony and Imperial hypocrisy. While the motivations of the Empire in the films has always been vague and ill-defined, in the extended universe (now Legends), the Empire was hardcore xenophobic.
In Galactic Imperial propaganda, Humanity was the superior species and all other alien sentients were meant to either serve as second class citizens, be enslaved, or just be outright exterminated.
I'm not sure there's anything in that episode that says that the thing Moff Gideon is trying to do has any chance of succeeding. I took away the exact opposite impression, in fact.
