Are you hoping for a work-in-process cut with unfinished CGI shots and the like?

I fully expect 4 minutes of a black and white slate that says “Superman is Jesus” just placed several times throughout

If he's not Moses they really fucked up the musical choice in the trailers.

Part of me objects to the idea that they can essentially just redo based on viewer feedback. Art is art, this isn't the same as adding in deleted scenes to form a Directors Cut, this is like changing an essay to remove the parts the teacher didn't like to get a better grade

Counterpoint: this what filmmakers do virtually every second up until release. I find no real reason it cant happen after other than letting go.

It is a fascinating experiment for sure. Part of me is frustrated at how much cash is being dumped into it that could have been used on making more smaller budget films, but I forget that Hollywood accounting doesn't work that way.

Like that money wouldn't be going into smaller stuff anyway, trust me.

Considering they have extra scenes shot that they didn’t use and most of the visuals are CG anyway, why not treat a flopped movie like a game and try to fix it up? There’s no reason a JL movie can’t be good, they just missed the mark before. It’s an interesting experiment

I am convinced that the effective doubling of the overall running time will be attributable to Snyder having originally filmed 90% of the movie at between 50 and 100fps.

I haven't seen it either! I have been debating whether to skip the original for the full Snyder experience
, or watch JL first (like you would a "do bad it's funny" movie)
