SUBNAUTICA is hands down my favorite game that I honestly don't know if i can recommend due to sheer volume of clipping / crashing / etc. (played on PS4) But as far as the games design itself? Beyond adored it.

People are saying runs so much more smoothly on PC, which I can imagine (only reason I didn't is I don't play many PC games cause I stare at computers all day and I need to get away and sit on a couch)

I dunno if they still sell them, but Steam Links make couch PC gaming feasible enough

It's more the closeness of the screen! My TV is a good ten plus feet away. Gives me a different focal point. That's the big thing. Need to protect my peepers.

I couldn't get it running smoothly on my PC despite having good enough specs so milage might vary.

I love the game so much. It's the best take on non-linear mostly open world story telling I've seen yet. I always recommend it with heavy warnings about fear of drowning and also the most unsettling terrifying sea creatures possible.

Dead By Daylight is that game for me. Excellent game concept, absolutely atrocious execution and an incredibly toxic community.

You should really try Outer Wilds if you dig exploration and a go at your own pace setting. More of a walking simulator than Subnautica but has such a fun air of mystery and discovery about it.

I put my PS4 by my PC so I don't need to move to the couch to play games. Maybe if I get a new tv (my old one is 12 years old) I might actually want to couch play.

I got it back when it was free on the epic games store, can confirm. Runs smooth as butter even with my underpowered rig.

I played this in VR (standing using a wireless controller, with the vr ui mod). This game is absolutely incredible in VR. I went in blind, and the first time I almost got eaten by a leviathan I had to take a long break because I couldn't stop shaking from the adrenaline.
