People are saying runs so much more smoothly on PC, which I can imagine (only reason I didn't is I don't play many PC games cause I stare at computers all day and I need to get away and sit on a couch)

On the positive side, when I last played the PC version it seemed stable enough so you can probably recommend that version safely.

Ran smoothly on PC. And yes, it's terrific.

the PC version is a lot more stable, though the engine still has an unfortunate habit of forgetting what water is.

The PC version is smooth as. I've spent so many hours in that watery hell. I love it but the constant inventory management killed me. I have a massive treasure trove of resources just piled up on the ocean floor because, where else is it gonna go?

The inventory management was honestly gamified enough for me to the point that I liked. I was always planning and counting.

I built a giant submarine but I’m too afraid of the big fish destroying it to keep playing.

Well after you articulated why my favourite games on the switch are so good (dark souls, botw, and stardew valley) I figure I’d have to be an idiot not to take this recommendation seriously.
