I had to lower the difficulty to beat a certain part as to keep myself from giving up. I am sure I could have powered my way through but I was really enjoying the story and didn’t want to slow my momentum. Where are you at?

What’s your take? I heard it was really intense—with none of the hope and occasional lightness from the original. It doesn’t sound like a great “I’ve been locked up all lone for three months” game.

It certainly does have some lightness. Regarding hope... the first game was concerned with the past as well as possible futures. Without spoilers, Part 2 focuses more on the perils of not moving on from one’s past.
