I think at this point, 99% of them are actually written by people, pretending that they're AI-generated. OTOH, the act of programming and choosing what elements will be assembled by the AI means that, ultimately, it is purposeful.

On the point of much likely not being ai generated: I feel that actually takes away from the humor. It’s like when someone makes a bad movie on purpose. It’s so much easier for someone to fail into a ‘so bad it’s good’, but actually meaning to is near impossible. (Near)
