It’s a celebration of a new cancelling, basically—real healthy normal behavior

Memes mostly. Someone does something that is controversial, however mininmal (not required), and people seem like they are cancelling them when in fact they are just making jokes at their expense. Mostly done by edgy teenagers.

from what i can tell it seems to be entirely composed of teenage girls falsely declaring western celebrities "cancelled" to get viewership on their weird fancams of kpop stars. The whole thing legitimately seems kind of psychotic to me but it's probably not worth actual thought.

like, when I say "falsely declaring" i'm not saying they're making up false allegations, i'm saying they're explicitly admitting to trending the hashtag without actually alleging anything at all. which, i'm forced to admit, is actually kind of funny

Either someone did something dumb or for some other reason. It sounds like a tumblr thing that moved into here for some reason.

When a celeb does something problematic or is milkshake sucked they get canceled and very normal people respond a “x is over” party on this godforsaken hellsite

I am both amused and mortified by the milkshake ducked typo in this tweet
