Back to the wall with pillows behind you and an airline-style neck-pillow?

Sometimes I can doze off sitting in the shower. Usually not a deep sleep but it’s restful and meditative

Yep! Lifelong asthmatic here. Prop yourself up with pillows in sort of a v shape. Don’t make the angle too steep
-
Seconded! You’ll going to want to sleep more elevated until you feel better. And take your time making your pillow situation super comfy so you actually want to go to sleep in that position

Yes if you have a reclining chair. Otherwise you can prop with a shitload of pillows, or place risers on the part of your bed where your head is (you can use books and shit as risers). I'm so sorry you're still so sick <3

Yeah. Doable in a comfy chair or sofa. Did it with a shattered collarbone for a few weeks.
-
Yup, in a big chair or the end of the sofa. I had a herniated disc a few years back and it was the only way I could sleep. Stacked some pillows on top to support my head.

30/45 degree angle will work.
