because your symptoms clearly match the covid's. But don't panic: here in italy many people tested positive and were simply told to stay home and pay attention to the symptoms. In particular, you have to watch out for your lungs: if your cough is dry and you feel it's getting 2/n

harder and harder to breath, you should get hospitalized. If your fever doesn't go down in 2-3 days, you should get hospitalized. I know in the us health care it's much more complicated/expensive than here in italy with our universal, mostly free nhs, but please be careful 3/n

there is a very high chance you will get through this without the need to be hospitalized, there is a very high chance you will get better on your own and remember this as a very bad flu. Especially if you're young and have no pre-existing health problems. But it's absolutely 4/n

important to know if you're positive because then the people you got in contact with can get tested and the authorities can trace and limit the contagion. This virus spreads so quickly and easly that in less than 3 weeks brought our best regional healthcare service (lombardy) 5/n

on it's knees because we simply do not have enough ic units to care for all the people who need it right now and in the next few weeks. Don't panic, you will surely get through this, worry for others who may be less equipped to deal with this shit. Get tested at home, stay home

we will get through this, in italy and in the us, but it's gonna get worse before it gets better. Please, don't leave the house unless it's absolutely necessary (groceries, health), work from home if you can, keep at least a 3 feet distance from everybody else, get tested at home

Americans don’t understand yet that we can’t fuck around with this, we can’t put it off - exponential growth is inevitable and more interaction = more death. But we’re starting to. We haven’t had to come together in a long time so we’re trying to remember how. Prayers up

it's the same for us. We've spent the last 25 yrs tearing each other apart for petty, idiotic things. But right now those things don't matter: make a difference, follow those rules i told you (they're from our surgeon general), convince others to follow them, care for each other

this fucking virus preys on the elderly and on people whose immune system is weak because of pre-existing conditions. Worry not for yourselves but for your grandparents and for that immunodepressed friend. Stay home as much as you can, keep those people safe. Andrà tutto bene
