Not seeing people talk a lot about COVID's impact on births. Was about to travel home to for the birth of my nephew. Not only is that nixed, but no one at home can even be near the baby. Hospitals are trying to figure out the very basics of what needs to be happening in real time

My wife is due on 5/17. I’m worried about overcrowded hospitals, her exposure during the final weeks, and then the baby.

Same here - we’re due next month. Trying to limit our exposure as much as realistic...

It just occurred to me that nobody's really talked about the impact on kids.

Gladly, it looks like a vast majority of children don't have symptoms. They can pass on the virus though.

An awful situation. My son was premature but even 4 months later he caught a cold and was in hospital on a drip for a week. A terrifying experience. They really need to work this one out for folks, and fast. Annoying when folks make jokes about it. Hope you get to see him soon!

We're due in June and it's scary. We both work in healthcare and have no idea what the risks are but can't afford to stop going to work.
