Well. I stayed up and watched all of BoJack Horseman. ... Think I might go for a walk.

You know, I’ve seen plenty of discourse about BoJack. Much of it is similar in tone to what you’re saying here. But your wording here is… well, I’m closer to saying “ok, I’ll watch it” than I’ve ever been.

What’s always kept me from watching it is the whole theme. It looks like an important show for folks who struggle with depression and feelings of meaninglessness, and I’m not one of these folks. I almost feel like I’m “too emotionally adjusted” to watch BoJack, if it makes sense.

They were wonderful, but as someone who grew up in Naperville, Sonny’s outraged “NAPERVILLE, CHICAGO?!?!?!??” is going to haunt me to the grave and beyond

I feel like I have to keep living with those episodes in my heart and my head... The spectrum of feelings that just those two conveyed was... Astonishing, damn.

BoJack had two all-time episodes and two all-time gags this season. The final two episodes, "but doctor, I am sad dog" and the cat stuck in the tree.
