Do they think people would buy new TVs, tablets and smartphones with high-res screens if there wasn't any entertainment to consume using them? How many businesses depend on marketing themselves between chunks of entertainment or within it?

It's the same bullshit when others tell those less well off to stop spending money on "non-essentials". So just work constantly? Never go out? Enjoy a movie? A dinner somewhere nice? Life that's all work is flavorless. And people who think of nothing but work are boring.
