And it's absolutely the best thing from Pacino in years. There's so many beautiful details about how and when he pays attention to people, how he eats, etc. Also it's true, when I was kid I felt like EVERYONE knew who Jimmy Hoffa was.

And I've been seen closed off De Niro for so long it's amazing to see that weaponized before he starts trying to contain his emotion. That entire last hour. Weirdly, it's one I ended up being most impressed by.

Lastly for Scorsese, it closes a mob trilogy. The punk kid of Mean Streets. The peak game of Goodfellas. But here, there's so much more humanity and wisdom and restraint and the way the arc of time and age put so much more in perspective. Especially when it doesn't.
