We have to face the fact that the company and the algorithm itself could give less of a fuck about experience and would rather just constantly play more more more and because it gets results nothing matters? Like, it can read that too, right?

I want the option to not be interrupted, the option not have to rush for my fucking controller when I'm crying over something, the option to enjoy something and be in the moment. But by all means, tech people get the button that allows them to watch the next whatever the hell.

Also, with any data-driven company you have to be extra sure you aren't being a slave to an algorithm that doesn't understand what people want versus what people put up with through gritted teeth. Remember, everything has a tipping point.

Look, I know Netflix also probably has a million internal arguments about this and people who think a million things and getting stuff done is like trying to steer a skyscraper and I have empathy for the struggle- But that's when these discussions become all the more critical.
