Two immediate design issues: 1) You have to hold X to get rid of every menu prompt. Yeah, they don't want to miss instructions by accident, but I HAVE TO DO IT EVERY TIME. 2) The glaring "*" that shines over is my journal for EVERY little new codex is my distraction nightmare.

I have to keep my gun out all the time, which is not just something I dislike and worry about shooting people accidentally with, it also takes up a good chunk of the screen.
