There are tons of corporate monopolies that scare me (telecoms, good god). Disney's just doesn't. Tastes can change so quickly. Star Wars is already foundering, and the most beloved actors of their franchises (Downey Jr., Jackman, and Harrison Ford) are retired.

Dystopia? Where’s the monopoly? Monopoly laws look at two main bases: 1. Is there reasonable competition? Absolutely. 2. Are customers negatively impacted by Disney’s size? No. Ignore personal opinions on remakes ruining creativity. Don’t punish a company for being successful.
