My favorite things about Succession are that it 1) never reaches for the joke and 2) never pulls a joke in at the wrong time, at least not without that adding to the conflict, meaning it's got a keen eye on it reality and 3) every joke is fucking hilarious.

Honest question are there any people of color in the show that have any strong roles or not so much?
-
Honestly, not so much. A few side characters. It's that problem catch 22 where it's taking dead aim at the worst people in the world, so it's mostly a white elite family eating each other alive, but that also means it eats the screentime / presence.

I’m a big fan of his and a big fan of Sarah Snook as Shiv. They’re so good together.

I would really love a series of webisodes where Tom and Greg dine at middle class, suburban restaurants so that Tom can review their “poverty food.”

His range is amazing. Go back and watch the first two seasons of MI-5 (Spooks in the U.S.A.) and I have a hard time reconciling that it’s the same person. Also the ‘07, Frank Oz version of Death at a Funeral.
