For more clarity I've had many out of body experiences in moments of anxiety attack & been dealing with lots of anhedonia this month, but last week I had a pretty bad triggering episode and since then Ive had full on stretches of quiet complete disassociation. Like I'm not there.

It's utterly surreal and bizarre. Because I've been on a long path of learning so much and getting better, then it's like my body/brain keeps throwing new harder awful things cause it's a fucking asshole that thinks its helping. YOU'RE NOT HELPING.

Had a very short dissociative fugue once. It’s weird. You must inform people near you. Consider setting reminders for yourself, Nolan’s Amnesia style.

I've found the same advice for bringing yourself down from a panic attack works (for me) w/disassociation. The five senses exercise - see five things around you, four things you can feel, etc. It grounds you, pulls you back in.https://medcenterblog.uvmhealth.org/wellness/physical/mindfulness-mindful-monday-exercise/ …

Sorry this is unsolicited, I know - just disassociation has been some of the scariest experiences of my life & even the smallest bit of help could change something. I hope it passes for you
