While the post credits make THE BEST CASTING DECISION OF ALL TIME, I was also more rankled then ever by the plot-punting and revisionism to what we just saw. I reeeaaaaally feel like it undermines something / the relationships, etc.

It's just more interference and getting us to question about what's next, rather then even having a second to enjoy digesting what we just saw. But it's the MCU way. Move move move. Don't sit still. While at the same time kind of changing nothing. Perpetual inertia.

Oh I just want to keep reiterating that the MCU refuses to really engage with consequences to the things they set up. "The Blip" was just that. A blip. There's no real meaningful exploration. Just "huh, that's weird!" and the party goes on conveniently.

The movie didn't feel like a victim of constant rewrites like Homecoming. Also, Mysterio is such a nasty piece of work; I love him so much.

I was pleasantly surprised that a movie of this scale would, in my eyes, have an antagonist so blatantly representing the Trump Era.

I mean wasn’t vulture also that?

I might be in the minority here, but this was the first MCU movie in a while that felt wholly unnecessary. The better movie was the one teased in the post credits scene and Mysterio was a muddled foil to Spiderman - after that we're left with an okay-ish Peter/MJ film

I felt Homecoming was slicker. I felt like I could see some of stitches in Far from home. Putting the 2 of the best scenes in post-credits was odd choice

Definitely felt better than Homecoming to me as well, but didn’t you feel some thematic indecisiveness with mysterio’s argument and its potential for making a strong meta point and how it kinda fizzled and went nowhere? again, textbook MCU, but felt like a wasted opportunity.
