Update: zero sleep. Gotta go. I also know this is going to 100% make me sick. Which is in turn going to ruin an upcoming visit (I get sinus attacks when I get colds that completely incapacitate me). This is my always cycle and I can't do anything to stop it.

this morning I have a doctor's appointment with a specialist due to a fairly horrific episode that occurred a few weeks ago, and it's at 9:45AM my solution for trying to make it to this appointment is to drink, entertain myself with video games, and just stay up all night

I don't think I have what you're characterizing as sleep anxiety but I definitely feel you about how being off-kilter in terms of how sleep works for us can be demoralizing as fuck and can absolutely wreck your ability to be in public

#Empathise Suffered with this for years, and continue to do so. The only thing that occasionally seems to work for me are melatoning tablets, but that's probably because I moved to Norway and we get no sun where I live.

I'm very similar. Any time I have to be up early and there's more pressure on than it being a normal day at work results in basically no sleep.
