Episode 26: So I'm going to be forthright. There's a lot of reason storytelling DOESN'T take this path (a dreamscape of characters telling the character things he should know as voices in their head) and it's simple: dramatically speaking, it spreads thin / feels repetitive.

On that note, Anno's relationship with the Eva fandom, and his response in EoE to said fans', er, "dissatisfaction" with eps 25-26, is also an interesting topic. I don't know if other authors have included not just death threats, but footage of the audience itself, in their work.
