It's been fascinating to watch the year-long anti-Captain Marvel campaign on Quora. The idea of her being the strongest there is has led to a lot of flailing.

"She's not the strongest, what about [character that neither exists nor is mentioned in the MCU]?"

Wonder what this guy thinks about in Man of Steel when Superman smashes up a dude’s truck because he was mad
-
or when he kills 10 people in Batman V Superman and then stares Batman down. I mean I didn’t watch the movie and i have no context for that scene but wow superman is literally a villain

I think the truth is that these guys are dumb, but realize any opportunity to play gotcha gets attention.

What gets me is it's so blatantly sexist. None of them are complaining about Superman being a villain for going back and beating up that trucker in the diner in Superman II. But they feel the need to point this out. Fuck each and every one of them.

Or the movie that scene is a reference to,T2. True the movie was trying to make you think that the T-800 is a villain still but the advertising spoiled that one. Nobody thinks back to T2 and says the terminator was the villain (well, the OTHER terminator). https://youtu.be/lYOoWCv_PYE
