I’m about to see all three at once. I think I’ll feel the same

I think the series has serious diminishing returns. The second and third movies aren't bad, but the first is a classic.

Beeeeeeeen there. It’s why I struggled with the first season of BARRY.

That’s another example where it’s deliberate. You can read a ton of interviews where Bill Hader says he explicitly wanted the violence in the show to feel awful and confronting and uncool.

It's like, a mix of absolutely incredible martial arts and super creative hand to hand and then just pointless gun dreck. It really kills the tension.

Yes! Once we see him kill the same guy 10 times in a row, it loses the impact.

I had that happen with the first Kingsman. I just felt, uncomfortable?

Honestly, it feels like they blew their load in the first two movies already. This has a great first act, but then sort of meanders to a conclusion. There's more LORE about the High Table and whatnot but the it feels bloated, missing the leanness of (especially) the first film.

And there's no bad guy at all. It's just Asia Kate Dillon as their spokesperson. You know Jardani can't die. All that can happen with the story at this point is a labyrinth of lore, betrayals, and endless levels of bosses above bosses.
