2003 Hulk and Bruce Banner will always be my favorite

It's a wonderfully bizarre and dour film, but certainly the most thematically-rich.

A great article from a clear Hulk fan (duh). Personally the poetry of the one who smashes saving half of creation makes up for the lack of on screen catharsis for me (maybe next film I kid I kid) but I appreciate your take. And Bill Bixby is still #1.

But that's just, like, a thing he did that has "impact" and "effect," but it's not really about anything with him personally that's dramatized.

Wait... Did you like Hulk 2003? I saw it for the first time last night and was baffled by it.

Let me just say I’m ecstatic you (guest?) write for the good good Polygon folks now! Off to read the thing.

Great article! Wish we could have a solo Hulk Story to cover the issues you presented, but from what i understand that isn't really possible. My idea would be to have it take place during the 5 years and more explore how Bruce gets to the point he is in by Endgame

FUCK YEAH. I was just saying to my buddy last night, "I'm surprised no one has written the definitive "Endgame Hulk sucks" piece." Excited to read.

It is extremely ridiculous that got resolved offscreen.

I don't know if they thought it was a bad idea so much as it was them having no idea what to really do with it?
