One of the biggest ongoing problems I have when discussing The MCU is how many people take the lip-service of a character's statements at face value, often evoking a momentary feeling / goal, while the overall dramatic text does not back that up lip-service whatsoever :/

Not if it's a prequel. They could still fill that important gap if they wanted to. I'm generally not a fan of prequels, but I'd be up for slightly younger versions of those characters as an action/espionage origin story.

My only real beefs with A:E are the convenient details. In IW the I/gauntlet had to be forged in a magic dwarven furnace across the galaxy just to hold the power of all the stones... but Tony whips one up no probs. Kinda undermines Thor's journey in IW.
