And it is (was?) the exact same coaster as the TWO-FACE at Six Flags America.
-
Were the two rollercoasters pretending to be each other?

If you’re referencing the one that was at Paramount’s Kings Island, it was a boomerang coaster in which you faced 2 other riders face-to-face. (Also, I can see this amusement park from my house!)pic.twitter.com/wi4qTuB4xo

...and you switched faces with the opposite rider?? Please tell me you switched faces with the opposite rider

Yep. Still there. Just with a different name.

King's Island in Mason OH! Sadly they had to change the name when Cedar Point bought it from Paramount. They also had a DROP ZONE, TOP GUN, and weirdly a THE ITALIAN JOB (the remake) ride.

The PKI years were definitely very confusing. I grew up going to that park and went back last July for the first time in about two decades. Cedar Fair seems to be recapturing the old magic pretty well.

I was about to hit up Google for some quick research, but have decided to take time to formulate my search terms, for the sake of mental health.pic.twitter.com/w3IwGQyqK7
