There's a genuine way to tease imagery, but that Frozen 2 trailer doesn't even make abstract sense and seems needlessly combative and I have no idea why they went with it.

I really dislike Frozen, but, I think part of the success of the original was that a lot of girls saw Elsa as a superhero, before Wonder Woman and Cap Marvel, so, to me, it's echoing a lot of the same beats as a superhero film teaser. Trying to evoke the same feelings.

I'd wager the ways the film gave voice to personal interiority, sibling relationships, and important thematic messaging about self-value within the landscape of love might have something to do with it along with the top-notch music but hey
