There's a genuine way to tease imagery, but that Frozen 2 trailer doesn't even make abstract sense and seems needlessly combative and I have no idea why they went with it.

Folks, I know what a teaser trailer is. And there's an art to doing a good one and giving people something of genuine substance without giving story. My point is this ain't it. This is nothing.

BTW I really, really, really, really, really like Frozen but I only saw it once in the theater and only heard the songs repeated through pop culture, not the stern and unflappable demands of tyrant children, soooooo

Someone re-edit the Frozen 2 trailer to start "On The Next Episode of Mad Men."

What Dan said. I thought it did a magnificent job of blending this sort of epic feel to it. Never felt grim or serious.

In their weird obsession with appealing to *everyone* it seems like they're attempting to fix what people *didn't* want or get with the first one...

“We gotta make sure the BOYS wanna see it!” ignoring the fact that boys saw the first one and all wear Elsa princess dresses already.

It'll have been 6 years since the first one when the new one is out. They could be banking on the children who saw the first now being moody teens and didn't want to risk it looking 'childish' to them?
