I’ve had it since I was a teenager. It happens less and less as I grow older. Now when it does occur I’m able to actually recognize it and talk myself through it so it isn’t quite as scary.

It used to happen to me regularly, from age 15 into my 20s. I’m watching the documentary now & had to pause it... I feel relieved because I now know I’m not alone, but it makes me afraid that it’ll come back. It’s more than a sleep disorder...

Yeah, there is a moment in the doc where a guy is rid of it for some years but it comes up in conversation and it returns that same night, I was at home like "dontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutit".
